Easy DIY Sugar Scrub
/You Will Need:
1 Cup of Sugar
Oil of Choice
(Fractionated Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Apricot Oil are some great options.)Essential Oils (Optional)
(Lavender, Frankincense, and Grapefruit are some great options.)Bowl
Mason Jar or Tupperware style Container
How to Make Your Sugar Scrub:
In a mixing bowl add your sugar and oil of choice to combine.
Add a little bit of oil at a time so you create a consistency which feels almost like wet sand.
If you add a bit too much oil, you can just add a little more sugar.
If you want to add essential oils, simply add 7-10 drops of your favorite oil to your mixture and mix to combine.
Then, pour your sugar scrub into your Mason Jar or Tupperware style container
To Use:
Gently apply your scrub all over to exfoliate your skin.
The sugar will clear away anything ready to be released while the oil will polish and hydrate your skin.
Rinse the scrub off your skin, making sure that you get all of it, including from the bottoms of your feet.
After you’re finished, pat dry and enjoy your rejuvenated skin.
You may want to use your scrub in the bathtub because the bottom of your feet may be slippery from the oil. If you’re not a bathtub person, just be careful when using in the shower.
This also makes a great gift or a fun project to make with a friend. Enjoy!
